PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder capable of enhancing the productivity without increasing the speed of the feeder, and preventing any increase in the size of the feeder even having many kinds of objects to be gathered. SOLUTION: The feeder 10 comprises two printed book stacking tables 11 which are arranged with a predetermined space therebetween for stacking a plurality of printed books 20, a suction cup 12 which is provided at the lower end of the printed book stacking tables 11 for separating the printed books 20 stacked on the printed book stacking tables 11 one by one, a vice arm 13 which is provided between the two printed book stacking tables 11, and reciprocated in a pendulum motion between the two printed book stacking tables 11 for drawing the printed books 20 from the printed book stacking tables one by one, a printed book conveying table 14 which is provided below the vice arm 13 to receive the printed book 20 drawn out by the vice arm 13, a printed book stopper 15 which is erected above the printed book conveying table 14 to strike and stop the printed books 20, and a printed book conveying chain 16, or the like for conveying the printed books 20 of the printed book conveying table 14.
