PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap opener so designed as to open the cap by forming a plurality of engaging holes corresponding to caps of different diameters, allowing the selection of an engaging hole matching the diameter of a cap, and making it possible to stably bring the engaging hole into contact with the periphery of a cap with less gripping force. SOLUTION: The cap opener includes a cap engaging section that has an engaging hole corresponding to a cap and two ends defined by notching a part of the circumference of the engaging hole. The cap opener also includes a pair of grips continuous with the corresponding ends of the cap engaging section.
