PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rising of temperature of a component due to radiant heat caused by radiation of ultraviolet rays, and to prevent the reflection of the ultraviolet rays from a substrate, using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A scanning section 21 for moving a table 24, having a recording medium P mounted thereon relative to an ultraviolet ray irradiation device 16 and a recording head 13, is placed on a portion at the outside of an image recording region R which is to be irradiated with the ultraviolet rays.
