PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment apparatus which is excellent in space saving. SOLUTION: The wastewater treatment apparatus comprises horizontal branch pipes each connected to a plurality of sanitary instruments, and two wastewater headers. One wastewater header A is connected with the horizontal branch pipes connected to a sanitary instrument discharging wastewater rich in solid matter, and the other wastewater header B is connected with the horizontal branch pipes connected to a sanitary instrument discharging wastewater whose solid matter content is smaller than that of the wastewater flowing into the wastewater header A.
