PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cloth diaper which easily covers and wraps a local part of a crotch part of a front body depending on the shape by having a folding groove part in the longitudinal direction or the lateral direction on the surface side of an absorbent pad to fold the cloth diaper in the longitudinal or transverse direction in the cloth diaper with the absorbent pad formed by a laminate of a water absorbing layer and a water retaining layer. SOLUTION: In the cloth diaper having the absorbent pad formed by a laminate of the water absorbent layer and the water retaining layer, the folding groove part is provided in the longitudinal or the transverse direction on the surface side of the absorbent pad to fold the cloth diaper in the longitudinal or the transverse direction through the groove part. Consequently, the cloth diaper freely covers and wraps the local part of the crotch part of the front body depending on the shape, prevents urine from flowing out or leaking from the side, and shows the excellent foldability or elasticity.
