A sound insulating part, especially for motor vehicle, has at least one sound-absorbing layer (10) and at least one dense layer (2) directly joined to the sound-absorbing layer (10).The dense layer (2) consists of a micro-porous sprayed skin layer which has at least one air-pervious part-surface zone (2,5) and at least one air-non-pervious part-surface zone (2.6). An independent claim is given for a method for fabricating a sound-insulating part.
