A current distribution bus comprises an electrically conductive conduit, which has been brought into a flattened shape at least regionally by pressing and whose end sections (26) are made in sleeve shape for the connection of electrical leads. It has angled portion(s) (16) or folded edges (18, 24) in its flattened section (12). A bulge portion(s) is provided in the common extent of the conduit and of the tube pieces connected to the conduit. An independent claim is included for a method of manufacture of a current distribution bus.
