The present invention provides a waterproof slide fastener in which an insert pin (9) is prevented from dropping out of a fastener tape (2) and a tape front end portion is protected from being unraveled or damaged. There is provided a waterproof slide fastener (1) in which a plurality of fastener elements (21) are arranged along flat element mounting edge portions (3) opposing each other of a pair of waterproof fastener tapes (2, 2') having a waterproof layer on a belt-like core material surf ace, and an insert pin (9) and a box pin (10) are fixed integrally to each flat end portion of the pair of fastener tapes (2, 2') such that they oppose each other. The waterproof slide fastener (1) further includes a slider (7) inserted through the fastener elements (21), and an insert pin fixing member (12) extending from part of a side face on a tape end side of the insert pin (9) over front and rear faces of the fastener tape (2) such that the insert pin fixing member (12) is fixed integrally thereto. An end portion of the insert pin fixing member (12) fixed integrally to both the front and rear faces of the fastener tape (2) covers the front end face of the fastener tape (2) on an insert pin fixing side so as to stride across the front and rear faces of the fastener tape (2). |
