An addition briquette for utilization in a charge into metallurgical units, for example, blast furnaces, steel-making units or cupola furnaces made on the basis of metallurgical wastes and binders comprises 50 to 98 % by Wt. of metal bearing and/or non-metallic metallurgical wastes in the form of fine powdery portions, fines and/or stabilized metallurgical sludges, collected flue dusts or other originally unstable substances and their mixtures as a basic component, further 1 to 25 % by Wt. of binders, water and eventual accompanying waste admixtures in the rest. In a method of its production, metallurgical wastes in the form of powdery and/or lump particles and/or sludge are mixed mutually together with a binder and water and then they are treated under the pressure and eventually with action of vibrations for the shape of briquettes. Unstable metallurgical wastes, for example, sludges are at first stabilized chemically by admixing of the stabilizing agent at the same time and then exposed to its action for a stabilization time with the object of ending reactions taking place in them.
|
