Fibre optical cable with enhanced crush-resistance

The crush resistant fibre optic cable has a circular shaped outer sheath which covers centrally placed fibre optic cables (2). The crush resistant sections consist of circular protrusions (5) moulded integrally with the outer sheath (4) and with 90 degree spacing between them. The protrusions run along the length of the fibre optic cable.
