Device for assembling pneumatic tire (2) on a rim (1) of a vehicle has a holding unit (22) for holding rim, a first guiding unit (19) for guiding an assembly tool along a circular path about axis (23) of rim, and second guiding unit (15) for guiding a positioning tool along a circular path about axis of rim. Positioning tool consists of a blank holder (11) which is adjustably positioned on a support (12) in steps parallel to the axis (23). The second guiding unit further has an adjusting device (16) for radial positioning of the blank holder. The first guiding unit has a support (5, 7) by which an assembly tool is guided on the circular path.
