<p>The cutting method for fabrication of components from materials which are difficult to machine involves the use of a milling cutter (10), the cutting edges (15) of which are contoured with protrusions and recesses. The cutting edges of the milling cutter may be contoured in the sense of a knurled toothing. The protrusions and the recesses of the cutting edges of the milling cutter lie in each case on at least one helical line. The protrusions and the recesses form a wave-form or trapezoidal or triangular contour.</p> |
