<p>A method of making a photo-electrical device comprising a porous electrically conductive network, said network having two major faces, said method comprising the steps of a). applying a first face of a mask component to a first face of the network, said mask component having two major faces, and comprising a layer of thermoplastic material; b). applying the second face of the mask to at least one other component; and c). heating and/or applying pressure to the mask such that the thermoplastic material deforms so that it embeds within the network and/or adheres to the other component. The mask may additionally comprise an adhesive material and/or a barrier material and the method steps may be repeated using another mask to enable more than one other component to be fixed to the network. Photo-electrical devices that may be made by such a method include photovoltaic cells and light emission devices.</p> |
