PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective hat capable of being changed into a compact state by deforming a crown and making storage and carry ready and having a cushion body with a simple and single structure. SOLUTION: The protective hat H1 is equipped with a hat body 1 and a cushion body 2. The hat body 1 is equipped with a crown 10 and a flange part 11. The crown 10 is constituted by sewing a plurality of crown-constituting members 12 through foldable connecting parts 13. Each crown-constituting member 12 is formed in a state interposing the cushion body 2 between a surface cloth piece 100 and a rear cloth piece 101. The cushion body 2 has single constitution of a two-layer structure having a semi-hard part 20 capable of dispersing impulse force on the outer side and a soft part 21 having cushioning property on the inner side.
