The invention relates to the metallurgy, in particular to the compositions of low-alloyed steels for metalwares of general and special purpose. The steel contains, wt.%: carbon - 0.10-0.17, manganese - 0.30-0.9, silicon - 0.15-0.37, chromium - 0.40-1.0, aluminium - 0.01-0.06, molybdenum - 0.07-0.25, vanadium - 0.03-0.12, cerium - 0.01-0.05, boron - 0.001-0.005, iron - the rest. The use of the steel allows to improve steel resistance to the sulphide corrosive bursting, to increase durability, opposition to abrasion, as well as percussive viscosity at the temperature below zero (cold hardiness) providing a good bondability.
