METHOD FOR PREVENTING TOXICOSIS IN COWS WITH CALVES

The method for preventing the toxicosis in the pregnant cows comprises the balanced ration enriched with cobalt with the addition of the mineral mixture and the use of the motion. Within the seventh-ninth months of the pregnancy, the iodinated oil is injected intramuscularly in a volume of 10-15 ml per animal. The artificial salt mixture comprising sodium sulfate 22.0 g, sodium bicarbonate 18 g, sodium chloride 9.0 g, potassium or zinc sulfate 1.0 g is used daily per animal. The daily dose of the mixture is enriched with 0.03 g of cobalt.
