The heat exchanger arrangement incorporates a pipe circuit within the water tank, which extends through the entire height of the tank water-bearing area. At its upper end, the pipe circuit has an inlet for receiving hot water and an outlet for hot water after passage through the circuit. The circuit is produced from a material which allows heat from the hot water to be transmitted to water in the tank as the hot water passes through the circuit.
