The method for treating the malignant ovarian tumor at the initial stages comprises the surgical intervention and the standard adjuvant chemotherapy. When the stage T1a is evident inttaoperatively, only the affected ovary with the uterine tube and the omentum are resected while the uterus and the contralateral ovary are spared.
