A strain gauge strip of the type that can be mechanically applied to a suppo rt subject to deformation, is made of Samarium monosulphide and provides optimum performan ce in terms of precision and sensitivity, without being affected by temperature an d covering a wide range of deformations that are well suited to commercial application.
