The proposed method for displaying the internal structure of a three-dimensional object consists in transmitting penetrating radiation through the object along three reciprocally perpendicular axes (X, Y, Z), generating the images of the object that correspond to the said directions of the radiation, converting the elements of the images into digital data, and using the said data for determining the optical density of the image at each point of the internal structure of the object by a corresponding equation. The X axis is arranged in parallel to the intersection of the planes of the first and the second images. The Y axis is arranged in parallel to the intersection of the planes of the first and the third images. The Z axis is arranged in parallel to the intersection of the planes of the second and the third images. The proposed method provides a possibility to determine the structure of a three-dimensional object with a minimal number of the two-dimensional images of the object.
