An inkjet nozzle is provided. The nozzle comprises: a nozzle chamber having an ink ejection aperture defined therein; a stationary member; and an ink ejection member for ejecting ink from the aperture. The ink ejection member is moveable relative to the stationary member. Further, the ink ejection member and the stationary member are configured such that a sealing meniscus is formed therebetween. The meniscus maintains a fluidic seal during ink ejection.
