FIELD: moving image coding systems; prediction of moving-image bi-directional prediction block. ^ SUBSTANCE: forward and backward movement vectors are obtained for bi-directional prediction block to be coded or decoded, forward and backward movement correction blocks are obtained using mentioned forward and backward movement vectors, and bi-directional prediction block in current frame is predicted using forward movement correction block multiplied by first factor and backward movement correction block multiplied by second factor, first and second factors being dependent on time interval between current frame and preceding reference frame. ^ EFFECT: enhanced precision of prediction and coding-decoding efficiency. ^ 8 cl, 4 dwg |
