A device for automatic control of the flatness of the strip of rolled product contains a sensor of distribution of tension on the width of strip, whose outputs according to the number of zones of measurement are connected with the inputs of regulators, whose outputs are connected to the appropriate inputs of adders, and by inputs of the unit of determination of the mean arithmetic value of tension of strip, whose outputs are connected to other appropriate inputs of regulators, frequency converters with regenerative braking, whose outputs are connected with the inputs of linear induction motorsmounted under the strip in accordance with the zones of measurement of tension, and inputs - with corresponding outputs of the blocks of assigned relationship of frequency and value of the voltage, whose inputs are connected with appropriate outputs of the adders of control unit, speed transducer. As speed transducer is used the sensor of distribution of the speeds of metal on strip width, whose outputs according to the number of zones of measurement of the distribution of tension are connected with appropriate inputs of the adders of control unit.
