The proposed fiber-optic pressure transducer contains a detecting element, which is made of quartz glass with a reflecting surface, a transmitting lightguide, and a receiving lightguide. The detecting element is installed at the pipeline section without changing the diameter and the shape of the pipeline cross-section.
