METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING REPLICATIVE ASYMPTOMATIC FORMS OF CYTOMEGALOVIRUS INFECTION IN WOMEN OF REPRODUCTIVE AGE, PREGNANT WOMEN, AND NEWBORNS

The method for diagnosing the replicative asymptomatic forms of cytomegalovirus infection in the women of the reproductive age, the pregnant women and the newborns provides for the immunoenzyme assessment of IgG against cytomegalovirus in blood serum. In addition, the cytological examination is performed by cytoscopy of the sediment of the saliva, the urine, the biosubstrate from the vagina and the cervical canal where the specific cytomegalic cells are detected which are specific only for this infection. Even one detected cytomegalic cell in seropositive persons is indicative of the replicative asymptomatic cytomegalovirus infection.
