A drive of a cutterbar knife contains a lever of a "rocking plate" mechanism, a flat spring strap, a base and a clamper. The drive of the cutterbar knife is carried out from the lever of the "rocking plate" mechanism directly through the head using the flat spring strap which serves as a connecting link of the knife back with the driving gear. Between the flat spring strap and the first segments (from the cutterbar drive) a clamper of a movable knife is installed on the bar of the cutterbar. All of the countercutter plates of the cutterbar fingers (starting from the first segment) are arranged in the same plane as they are installed on the same constructive bar element.
