摘要 The method for histological diagnosis of the glomus bypasses in the terminal villi of placenta at the area of transition into the anchoring microvilli comprises the assessment of the ball-shaped nuclei in epithelioid myocytes 15-20 ?m in size, in different projections of the histological sections in the middle layer of the arterial walls continuing as the glomerular sinusoid capillaries where the biologically active substances are released into the synaptoid fissure of the nerve sleeves. These structures provide for neuroglomular homeostasis bydirecting the enriched maternal blood from the placental bed to the transcapillary membranes of the terminal villi improving microcirculation in the tissues of fetus, preventing the damage caused by lipid peroxidation to the membranes of the placental barrier and providing antioxidant protection in the tissues of fetus by slowing down the diffusion of the oxygen and the nutritive substances from the placental maternal bed to the fetal tissues. This is important regarding the aspects of gestation involved in the inhibition of the neuroglomular homeostasis.
