#CMT# #/CMT# Anhydrous bitumen-polymer composition (A) comprising a bitumen (I), optionally a filler (II) and an optionally crosslinkable polymer (III), comprises a (thio)phosphoric ester (IV). #CMT# : #/CMT# Independent claims are included for: (1) a support obtained by applying the composition; and (2) a coating comprising the support. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The composition is useful as bitumen-polymer mastic. The composition is useful for application on supports. The coating is useful for sealing and/or proofing of vibrations, heat insulation and sound and/or fire protection (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The composition exhibits: a softening temperature (measured in [deg]C according to standard DIN EN 1427) of 80-150, preferably 100-130; and/or a pliability temperature in cold (measured in [deg]C according to standard DIN EN 1109) of less than -10, preferably -35 to -15. (I) has a softening temperature (measured in [deg]C according to standard DIN EN 1427) of 35-80. (IV) is useful as a promoter agent of the viscosity in heat and/or resistance to thermal cracking in cold, in the anhydrous bitumen-polymer mastic composition (all claimed). The composition is stable with storage and presents: compatibility of the components, in particular compatibility between the additive with the polymer and bitumen; no bad smells with heat; easy preparation and use; reduced toxicity; low production cost; improved performance in terms of mechanical and physical properties for the final coatings i.e. mastic; reliability in time compatible with the decennial guarantee in building domain. #CMT#ORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Components: (IV) is an orthophosphoric (phosphoric) acid ester, orthothiophosphoric acid ester, pyrophosphoric acid ester, pyrothiophosphoric acid ester, metaphosphoric (polyphosphoric) acid ester or polythiophosphoric acid ester. (IV) comprises a monoester and/or a (thio)phosphoric acid polyester and a fatty alcohol, preferably comprising a alkyl block and a alkylene polyoxide block, preferably propylene and/or ethylene polyoxide. (IV) is of formula R-[(O-CZ 2-CH 2) n-O] 3-m-P(=X)-(XH) m. The ester contains a 3-6 alkoxy groups, preferably ethoxygroups. (IV) is a phosphoric ester having an acid value of 90-240 and a flash point (measured according to standard NFM 07-019 in closed vase) being 200-230[deg]C. (IV) is used at a rate of =5 wt.%, preferably 0.05-1 wt.% compared to (I). X : O or S; Z : H or CH 3; m : 0-2; n : 0-10; and R : hydrocarbon chain, preferably 15-18C alkyl or phenyl group (both optionally substituted). #CMT#POLYMERS : #/CMT# Preferred Components: The polymer (III) comprises copolymers such as copolymer sequences, optionally statistical hinge, styrene and butadiene, styrene and isoprene, styrene and chloroprene, styrene and carboxylated butadiene or styrene and carboxylated isoprene. #CMT#EXAMPLE : #/CMT# The preparation was carried out at 180[deg]C, in a reactor under agitation in which were added bitumen (53.9 wt.% of the final total weight of the composition), a mixture (0.1 wt.%) of mono and diesters of phosphoric acids and the styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS 411) (11 wt.%). The contents were mixed for approximately 2 hours at 190[deg]C. Calcium carbonate (filler) (35 wt.%) was introduced into the obtained mixture. The contents were mixed for approximately 3 hours while heating for approximately 2 hours at 180[deg]C to obtain the mastic mixture. |
