The method involves superposing sub-bands (5a, 5b) assembled near longitudinal edges of printed elementary bands to form a stack of superposed elementary bands in which the edges are one above another. Each sub-band is cut in the vicinity of one of the edges of the stack to obtain a final band in which the edges are situated in a same plane perpendicular to a plane of the final band. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a supply reel destined to be utilized for implementing a method for manufacturing a final band of printed documents with sheets (B) a device for implementing a method for manufacturing a final band of printed documents with sheets (C) a method for manufacturing a finished reel of printed documents implementing a method for manufacturing a final band of printed documents with sheets (D) a finished reel obtained by a method for manufacturing a finished band of printed documents with sheets (E) a device for implementing a method for manufacturing a finished band of printed documents with sheets (F) a method for manufacturing printed documents with sheets and implementing a method for manufacturing a final band of printed documents with sheets (G) a device for implementing a method for manufacturing printed documents with sheets.
