<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent drag by sufficiently separating another brake pad arranged in a caliper claw side from a disk rotor at a time of brake release. <P>SOLUTION: When torque is transmitted to a trapezoidal screw 64 at the time of brake release, a ball screw nut 62 straightly moves toward an outside in a vehicle lateral direction, and the caliper claw 14 of a caliper 6 moves to the outside in the vehicle lateral direction together with the ball screw nut 62.
