摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double matrix type electrooptical device etc., which is suitably applied to a display panel having a longitudinally long screen by applying a rendering technique which is different from before while devising a pixel array structure. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal device has a plurality of gate lines 33, a plurality of pairs of source lines 32a and 32b, a plurality of pixel electrodes 10, and a plurality of TFT elements 21, and one pixel is constituted as a pixel array of two rows and three columns; and the pairs of source lines 32a and 32b are provided corresponding to both sides of a pixel electrode group arranged in a column direction and the gate lines 33 are provided each corresponding to pixel electrodes of two adjacent rows.
