PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide data communication equipment, a data communication method, and a data communication program which prevent double registration of an address without requiring complicated processing. SOLUTION: When it is decided that a device main body of the data communication device connected to another data communication device via a network doesn't hold prescribed address book data (NO in S103) and that the another data communication device holds the prescribed address book data (YES in S107), the data communication device receives the prescribed address book data from the another data communication device (S108).
