PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire escape that, in case of fire, can sense the fire, reliably notify the location of the fire escape to a user and indicate what action the user should take. SOLUTION: The fire escape 1 comprises a fire sensing means for sensing a fire, a signal processing part for receiving a fire sensing signal output from the fire sensing means, arithmetically processing the received signal and outputting an alarm signal to an alarm means, and the alarm means operable to raise the fire sensing alarm when receiving the alarm signal from the signal processing part.
