PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve crosstalks caused by the spontaneous emission light in the wavelength multiplexing optical communications system in which signal, having a plurality of wavelengths are combined to be transmitted over a single optical fiber so as to be separated at the other end and is received by a plurality of light-receiving devices, wherein the light of a semiconductor laser contains, in addition to oscillation light, a weak continuous noise component, having a different wavelength (here, to be referred to as spontaneous emission light). SOLUTION: A spontaneous emission light-shielding filter for reflecting spontaneous emission light is disposed, after the semiconductor laser and in front of the optical fiber in the optical path, thereby removing the spontaneous emission light and preventing crosstalks.
