PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal module wherein influence of swelling of a rear cover covering a flexible substrate side is suppressed in the compact liquid crystal module used for a mobile type information terminal device. SOLUTION: In the box-shaped rear cover 60 disposed on the lower side of a main liquid crystal panel 20 which constitutes a double-sided liquid crystal module 1, a shallow bottom part 61 to be a first bottom part and a deep bottom part 62 to be a second bottom part are provided to the bottom surface of the box-shaped rear cover 60 and the shallow bottom part 61 is formed only in the frame area X of the main liquid crystal panel 20. By this constitution, substantial distance between the deep bottom part 62 and the display area W of the main liquid crystal panel 20 can be expanded. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
