PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tensile tester capable of displaying a tension-resistant stress, without using a hydraulic system and without using an expensive load cell and controller. SOLUTION: All the units are made same by changing coefficients, by combining a numeral condition with an inside diameter (piston outside diameter 9) of a cylinder 1 and a cylinder output lot shaft diameter, although a pointer-placement type pressure gage 7 is displayed by the unit of pressure to be different from the unit of tensile strength in an output lot shaft 12, and although pressure in a clearance part 11 is expressed by Mp and the tensile strength in the output lot shaft is expressed by ton to be different in the units.
