PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of driving super-magnetostrictive pumps for efficiently driving at least two super-magnetostrictive pumps by a single ECU. SOLUTION: By the method for driving super-magnetostrictive pumps, a plurality of super-magnetostrictive pumps having respectively different driving frequencies are driven by the single ECU 1. In a circuit wherein the plurality of super-magnetostrictive pumps 2, 3 are connected in series, and resonance capacitors 4, 5 are placed in parallel with the super-magnetostrictive pumps; values C<SB>1</SB>, C<SB>2</SB>of the respective resonance capacitors are determined so that parallel resonance frequencies f<SB>1</SB>, f<SB>2</SB>determined for the respective circuits of the pumps become specified driving-frequencies, and the voltage output from the ECU is made up to have a voltage waveform acquired by adding the driving voltages of the respective pumps.
