PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder in which an action for forming cockling can be produced at the tip of a sheet without causing complication in structure or a cost increase. SOLUTION: A platen located oppositely to a recording head and regulating the gap between a sheet and the recording head by supporting the sheet is provided on the side opposing the recording head, with a first rib 51, a second rib 52 and a third rib 53 formed sequentially from the upstream side of a sheet conveyance route. A conveyance driven roller 31 is urged by a set of two urging means and a place on which a load by the urging means concentrates becomes a position F. An arranging position of each rib in the main scanning direction coincides with the arranging position of a discharge drive roller 41 (and a discharge driven roller), and the position F on which the load concentrates is located between the two ribs in the main scanning direction.
