PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic mold apparatus for casting, which shortens a cycle time, easily exchanges the metallic molds, and prevents generation of an unbalanced load at the time of pushing out a work. SOLUTION: The metallic mold apparatus is used for casting a work W with a cavity 4 formed by a movable mold 3 and a fixed mold 5, and releasing the work W from the molds with pushing-out pins 10, which are mounted projectably and retractably in the movable mold 3, after casting of the work W. The pushing-out pins 10 are energized in an advancing direction by coil springs 11. The pushing-out pins 10 perform retreating motion with advancing motion of the movable mold 3, and perform advancing motion with retreating motion of the movable mold 3. By this advancing motion of the pushing-out pins 10, the work W cast is released from the molds. The coil springs 11 are mounted in a contracted manner between a set plate 12 fixed to a casting machine 1 and a 1st pushing-out plate 13 holding the pushing-out pins 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
