An object of the present invention is to provide an injection apparatus capable of enhancing efficiency, reducing size, and enhancing durability of an injection member. The injection apparatus includes an injection member disposed reciprocatably in a cylinder member, a linear motor device (49) for advancing the injection member when operated, a metering member disposed rotatably in the cylinder member, and metering drive means for rotating the metering member. In this case, in an injection step, the linear motor device (49), when operated, can directly advance the injection member to thereby perform injection; therefore, occurrence of energy loss can be prevented.
