PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the passage of a vehicle over a bump at start and to provide driving force control that will provide increased vehicle operability at the time of the detection.
SOLUTION: At the time t1 when a determination is made that there is no increase in wheel speed ω matching a driving force F corresponding to accelerator opening APO while a vehicle is started with the accelerator opening APO increased, a bump detection signal is generated and bump detection is performed. If it is impossible to pass over a bump even with the opening APO increased as in t1 to increase the driving force F, the driver temporarily gives up, lowers the APO (driving force F), and backs the vehicle by switching to the R-range for increased APO, after which the APO is increased again in the D-range to move the vehicle toward the bump. At the time t2 of this reentry, a determination is made as to whether or not the vehicle has passed over the bump, and a bump passage control signal rises, increasing the driving force F by the amount of hatching so that the vehicle can pass over the bump and start. At the time t3 of a resulting sudden increase in wheel speed ω, a determination is made as to whether or nor the passage over the bump has ended, and an increment in the driving force is gradually decreased. At the time t4 when the driving force F returns to the driving force required for the driving operation matching the APO, all the control is completed.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
