摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distinguish the cause of disconnection failure occurring in the power supply circuit for a vehicle having a precharge function exactly. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program including a step (S130) for detecting the current value IB of a battery (S120) when precharge is started (YES at S110) and storing it as IB(ini), a step (S160) for calculating a variation current value &Delta;IB=¾IB(ini)-IB¾ by detecting the battery current value IB (S150) when a minute time T elapses during precharge (YES at S140), a step (S180) for determining that a power supply circuit is free from short circuit failure if the variation current value &Delta;IB exceeds a variation threshold &Delta;I (YES at S170), and a step (S190) for determining that disconnection failure occurs in the power supply circuit if the variation current value &Delta;IB does not exceed the variation threshold &Delta;I (NO at S170). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
