CARRIER FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVELOPER, DEVELOPER, IMAGE FORMING METHOD AND PROCESS CARTRIDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for a two-component developer having higher durability and capable of forming textured images over a prolonged period of time by suppressing scraping of a carrier surface covering resin layer while suppressing spent of a toner and an external additive on a carrier surface.

SOLUTION: The carrier for an electrophotographic developer comprises magnetic core material particles and a binder resin layer covering each particle, wherein the relation between the particle diameter d50(D) and the thickness (h) of the binder resin film is 150<[D/h]<3,000 and the carrier core material has a shape factor SF1 of 100-115 and a shape factor SF2 of 100-115.
