<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring varistor in which a tab is strongly bonded to the electrode of a varistor element, with no rising of a jointing material. <P>SOLUTION: The ring varistor comprises a varistor element 40 and tabs 51-53. The varistor element 40 comprises electrodes 42-44 on at least one surface of an annular varistor elemental body 41. The tabs 51-53 comprise cuts (through slit, through hole, or the like) 511-531 in a plane, and are jointed to the electrodes 42-44 of the varistor element 40 using jointing materials 21-23 supplied to the cuts 511-531. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
