PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active element substrate whose crosstalk due to electrostatic capacity Csd is improved more and to provide a display device which is improved in picture quality by being equipped with the active element substrate and shows high display quality even when DV display is carried out. SOLUTION: A TFT substrate has pixel electrodes 5A and 5B and signal lines for charging those pixels A and B. The pixel electrode 5A is has a pixel electrode projection part 5A-a which overlaps with a signal line 12A and projects toward the signal line 12A nearby the signal line 12A.
