PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial waveguide converter which can easily change a passing frequency band of the coaxial waveguide converter according to various frequencies of electromagnetic waves which are attempted to be passed through the coaxial waveguide converter and is applicable to transmission of the electromagnetic waves in a wide band. SOLUTION: In the inside of a waveguide 3 of the coaxial waveguide converter 1, a short board 7 is movably provided in the axial direction of the waveguide 3 and a probe 9 is provided so that the tip position of the probe 9 is adjustable by a probe position adjustment means 29 in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the waveguide 3. A position of the short board 7 and the tip position of the probe 9 are adjusted according to the frequency of the electromagnetic waves which are attempted to be passed through the coaxial waveguide converter 1.
