PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensitive adhesive composition excellent in both of fundamental adhesive properties such as rewinding force, tackiness, adhesive force, retentivity and together with releasing properties from back face of a substrate which is a requirement as a bundling tape. SOLUTION: The pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprises 100 pts. by mass (in terms of solid content) of a component (A) a predetermined (meth)acrylate emulsion, 10-100 pts.mass of a component (B) a predetermined latex, 3-50 pts.mass of a component (C) a predetermined tackifier and 3-50 pts.mass of a component (D) a plasticizer as essential components, wherein the (meth)acrylate based polymer composing the component (A) contains≥40 area% in GPC area in THF soluble ingredients of ingredient (low molecular weight ingredient) with≤810,000 of molecular weight, and the weight average molecular weight of the low molecular weight ingredients contained in the THF soluble ingredients is≥100,000.
