PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress to the utmost fluctuation of continuous paper pages which are retained between two printers. SOLUTION: The feed timings of continuous paper P are shifted with the printers 12 and 14. Thus, a time for stopping a print instruction to the other printer is gained when the one printer can not make printing. The fluctuation of a specific page of the continuous paper P retained between the printers 12 and 14 is thereby suppressed without one page, so that a buffer apparatus provided between the printers 12 and 14 is downsized to reduce the cost for an image forming system. Since the installation area of the entire image forming system is also reduced, a degree of freedom in a layout of the installation location is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
