PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a money processing system for a vending machine of VTS specification, in which since the denominations (amounts), the number or the like of usable bills is restricted because of a program for a controller of the vending machine, the system increasingly cannot respond to various usages of currency, resulting in reduction in utilization ratio of the vending machine or reduction in operation profit. SOLUTION: In this money processing system for the vending machine, a bill identification device 1 for identifying a bill inputted is electrically connected with the controller 2 of the vending machine, a communication means 3 receiving and transmitting input information of coins with the bill identification device is electrically connected to the identification device, the communication means is electrically connected with the controller of the vending machine.
