PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing packaged shaved ice which has crunchy palate feeling and also makes a spoon smoothly pass through, under a simple manufacturing condition. SOLUTION: The method for producing packaged shaved ice comprises the following process: crushing or shaving a block of ice to make shaved ice; and sprinkling or pouring syrup on or in the shaved ice before putting the shaved ice in a package followed by charging the shaved ice in the package, or sprinkling or pouring syrup on or in the shaved ice after charging the shaved ice into the package. In the method, all the manufacturing process is performed under the condition of freezing temperature at <0°C, therefore the crushed particles or shaved segments do not adhere to one another so as to keep the crunchy palate feeling and rustling condition.
